Royal Enfield Interview Experience - 1

STREAM : Mechanical Batch 2016
Selection Process consisted of 3 rounds.
1. Aptitude
2.Group discussion
3.Technical and HR interview.
Aptitude Round :
It was a Combination of both quantitative aptitude and technical aptitude. It was divided in 6sections.
It included quants, verbal, logical reasoning, data interpretation, technical apti.
Note: Go through basics of mechanical engineering subjects, physics knowledge would help you lot.
Overall it was a test for your basic knowledge and agility.
Group Discussion :
Unfortunately Group Discussion was not there, because of very less number of people cleared first round.
Technical & HR Round :
As most of the company interview, this too started with the personal introduction of yourself.
The interviewer was most concentrated on the design aspects, mainly design of gear.Gear materials, how to vary the pitch, depth etc depending on loads. Then basics about automobile, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
HR interview was also done simultaneously .
Tips:
Prepare well for aptitude, and GD. Technical interview will be based on your skills, how well you try to answer them. Basically they will check for your passion, knowledge towards your interested area of working and Confidence.
If you are mentioning any of your project achievement, make sure you are thorough with that.
